Skills: UX design processes
Summary: Building an empathy map to help colleagues understand users better.
An empathy map is a collaborative visualisation used to articulate what we know about a particular type of user. It externalises knowledge about users in order to 1) create a shared understanding of user needs, and 2) aid in decision making.
We start off with a persona type based on existing customers.
The persona gives us the following:
- Story and details
- Value and influences
- Motivations and goals
- Frustrations and pain points
Please note: All design work completed by me was done as an employee of Coviu Global.
