The initial direction from the client was to focus on building a simple yet responsive flight booking app, targeting a demographic of young, frequent travelers always seeking the best deals.
By applying design thinking methodology and leveraging essential UX collateral as discovery data, we were able to drive the UX of the MVP. This included:

UX Assets
On the left is a collection of UX assets we created to help define the type of product to design.
Mindmap
This process helps visualize all relevant areas associated with creating an intuitive flight booking app. We used tools like Miro to generate initial data, which was then refined in collaboration with stakeholders.
User Flow
This basic flow illustrates the process from opening the app to completing a purchase. Multiple iterations and modifications were made based on user testing insights.
Personas
The initial personas were derived from the client’s scope, based on their perception of the target customer. We started with assumptions and refined them through testing and feedback.
Customer Experience Map
Using data from the personas, we built a customer experience map to better understand the user journey and interactions within the app.
